The Holocaust and Pope Pius XII

Invitation to talk

Speaker: Gary Krupp

When: Thursday, November 8 at 8pm

Where: The Davenport Hotel, Dublin 2

Admission free

Our next speaker is Gary Krupp, one the most noted Jewish defenders of Pope Pius XII. Pope Pius stands accused of the terrible moral failing of not doing enough to save the Jewish community of Europe from the Holocaust. Even worse, he has been accused of being ‘Hitler’s Pope’.

Mr Krupp is founder of the Pave the Way Foundation, a New York-based organisation that fosters closer relations between Judaism and Catholicism.

Over the last six years, the organisation has uncovered 76,000 pages of original material, plus multiple eyewitness accounts and testimonies from prominent international scholars which show how deeply unjust it is to call Pius XII ‘Hitler’s Pope’.

In 2000, Mr Krupp was made a Knight Commander of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great for his charitable work.

If you would like to attend the talk please let us know by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 01 6619 204.

Tea and coffee will be served as usual afterwards.
